The church is one of the most beautiful in the region, with its square church tower, used as porch, and its grotesque characters illustrating the seven original sins. One of the most original parts is the door, where it is possible to admire ornamental hinges intertwining, ended by reptiles, heads, bears or pine cones.
Near the church, we find a house in granite from the XVII° century, now occupied by the town hall.
It was built by the lords of Ventadour before the XIV° century. Now, it is only possible to see the ruins of the castle, in a field overlooking Liginiac. Sculpted and cut stones show that the work was fiddly. There were four towers, an inner courtyard and a chapel. It was destroyed in 1793 after being burnt during the Revolution. A tower is still present (see picture on the right) as well as the cellars of the castle. From the ruins, we can enjoy a unrestricted view of Liginiac and the Mont Dore.
