The ponds of the commune

The beauty of these ponds would almost make us forget that their main function was to store water in order to irrigate the fields. Formerly they were also used as fish's reserves to feed the inhabitants.

Today they are accused of causing ecological nuisances and overturning the hydrographic network (water's warming up, colonization by undesirable species...).

These ponds, which are often unknown, contribute to the wonder of the fishermen and the tourists.
